з.ы.ы. Я нисколько не сомниваюсь что беженци из Ирака будут обсирать Садама.
НО это внутренние проблемы данного государства, и не надо лезть в чужую жизнь...

I apologize if my English bothers anyone. I certainly understand why it may.

I feel that not so many people here like me using English. If that's so, I will no longer do it yet will not be able to participate too much for reasons stated earlier.

I did not say that it is easier for me to write in English than in Russian; what I did say was that at work I do not have a Russian keyboard and that I no longer have time to do it from home where I do have such keyboard, so from work I can only write in English.

As for not needing to go to Iraq (which, by the way, is not the subject of this thread), the current Iraqi government wants us to stay until they can get their act together (they really need to hurry up, IMHO). Legitimacy-wise, there were about 12 or 14 UN resolutions for Saddam regime to get rid of the WMD's, and most intelligence services, including the Russian ones (I read their comments in Russian media back then) were convinced he had them and was fooling everyone around him.

Now, you may not agree that the US-led coalition should have started the war; let's assume it is so; is that the only thing you have in mind about the United States? Again, this is not what this thread is about and is worth a separate discussion, but are you guys just stuck on the war in Iraq?

Если вы считаете что этого мало, то я сичтаю что этого достаточно для того чтобы не любить США, еще раз повторюсь не надо совать нос в чужие дела.

Насчет оружия массового поражения, напомните мне пожалуйста где было оно найдено после вашего вторжения в Ирак, у меня честно говоря в памяти не запечатлелся такой факт...

Yes, they were not found, and I did not say that they were, and there is no argument about it; however, most intelligence said that it was, so was also UN's opinion at that time.

1. Напомните когда США интересовало мнение ООН?
2. Если оружие массового поражения найдено не было, не считаете ли вы что вмешательство во внутренние дела другого государства это прерогатива США как всемирного супер пупер миротворца?

Commissar, ты сам то понимаешь, что говоришь? Оружие не найдено - это факт. Мало ли кто что говорил. США получило влияние на Ирак - и следовательно доступ к его нефти. Я повторяю не то, что показывают по телеку - телек я не смотрю. Я говорю вещи, готорые лежат на поверхности. У Ирака есть ресурсы. Есть правительство, которое не подчиняется АМЕРИКАНСКОМУ режиму. Америка не мирится с этим.
